About
With influences from across the globe the band can swing back and forth between soulful ballads, country rock and jazzy adult pop. Justin’s songs have been featured in 5 independent movie releases and a television commercial.
Justin plays acoustic guitar, writes and sings lead vocals. The band features Jon La Croix on drums and keyboards, in addition to producing the bands records. Jon is also a co-writer on “Plain Enough” from the 2004 release, Mad Jasper. Dan Lutz, the musical director for the Oasis Church in Los Angeles, plays bass in the studio, while Chris Everett handles the live shows. Guitarist Steve Harriton, Jon’s partner from the production company, Essani Music, plays on the record, while Travis Newlon, also of the Oasis Church house band, handles the live shows. Jerry Moore, who has played on every record since 1995, is the extraordinary sax player both live and in the studio. Before the guitarists came along in 2004, Jerry played every solo and added a distinct jazz tone to the songs.
It’s a family affair with Dan’s wife Michelle, a lead vocalist in the Oasis Church, on backing vocals.
The Migman handles the web site, photography and air guitar.
The band is currently finishing a new record that should be available in early 2007 and playing shows in Southern California.
